Texas Sports Central Top 10 High School Football Rankings

The Texas high school football season continues to heat up as teams move deeper into district play and the postseason picture begins to take shape.

Following the results from Week 6, Texas Sports Central has released its Week 7 Top 10 High School Football Rankings. This week's rankings reflect overall performance, strength of schedule, consistency and what each team has accomplished through the first half of the season.

1. Allen Eagles

Allen takes over the No. 1 spot in this week's Texas Sports Central rankings. The Eagles have remained undefeated and continue to establish themselves as one of the most complete teams in Texas.

2. North Shore Mustangs

North Shore remains one of the state's elite programs at No. 2. The Mustangs continue to dominate opponents and have once again put themselves in position to make a deep postseason run.

3. North Crowley Panthers

North Crowley holds the No. 3 position after another impressive stretch of football. The Panthers have been one of the state's most consistent teams and continue to show why they belong among Texas' elite.

4. Waxahachie Indians

Waxahachie moves into the No. 4 spot. The Indians have opened the season with an impressive undefeated record and continue to produce strong performances on both sides of the ball.

5. Smithson Valley Rangers

Smithson Valley remains the highest-ranked 5A team in the Texas Sports Central Top 10. The Rangers have been dominant throughout the season and continue to represent the San Antonio area among the state's best.

6. San Antonio Johnson Jaguars

Johnson remains one of the strongest teams in the San Antonio area. The Jaguars are undefeated and continue to build a résumé worthy of statewide recognition.

7. Katy Tigers

Katy remains firmly inside the Top 10. The Tigers' consistency and postseason experience make them a team that cannot be overlooked as district play continues.

8. Boerne Champion Chargers

Boerne Champion continues to make a strong case for a spot among Texas' best. The Chargers have been dominant defensively and remain one of the top teams to watch in the San Antonio area.

9. Boerne Greyhounds

Boerne remains another undefeated San Antonio-area contender. The Greyhounds have continued to build momentum and could make a significant move up the rankings with strong performances in the coming weeks.

10. Westlake Chaparrals

Westlake rounds out the Texas Sports Central Top 10. The Chaparrals remain one of the state's most respected programs and have the opportunity to climb the rankings as the season continues.
